most recognized icons, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Musical
Ride, will be performing at the Picton Fairgrounds on Tuesday, September
9. Prince Edward Yacht Club is proud to host the RCMP Musical Ride as a charitable event that will benefit both the yacht club's Junior Sailing School and the Prince Edward County Youth Park. The Prince Edward County Music Festival- Bridging the Old and the New celebrates its 5th Anniversary from Sept.18 to 20, 2008. Evening concerts start at 7:30PM at The Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Picton, Ontario. We welcome distinguished Canadian composer-in-residence Alexina Louie. Also featuring Stephane Lemelin, Artistic Director and pianist, clarinetist Andre Moisan, cellist Tanya Prochazka, the Pendericki String Quartet and the Canadian Guitar Quartet.
