Corporate Services Committee, was adopted by the Council of
the County of Prince Edward on December 19, 2005, having received

of Tourism and Commerce be informed that a two year term is
being offered for visitor’s information services. Funding
for visitor information services will be $52,500 for 2006
and 2007 respectively; and that the service level for visitor
information services continue as currently provided plus ongoing
operation and stocking of two kiosks (on the north side of
Highway 33 at the western border of the County and at the
Rossmore Plaza) with an mutually agreed upon, established
standard of service.”
In a letter to PECCTAC from Gale Frost, Commissioner
of Corporate Services/Treasurer she writes:
“Council’s direction in this matter is a response
to the positive nature of recent meetings with the Chamber
and reflects the municipality’s desire for stability
in tourism services and support for the newly formed Tourism
Alliance Group. We look forward to working with your organization
to provide excellent tourism services for the County of Prince
Edward”.
