All Canadian employers must consider the impact of cannabis legalization on work-related activities and travel. The CannEd e-learning course educates employers and employees on cannabis facts, laws, and responsibilities.

With 17% of Canadians consuming cannabis according to Statistics Canada, it is important to educate staff to ensure safety at work, and decrease liabilities. The CannEd course allows employers to validate the information was reviewed and tested, as well as provide a company-specific cannabis policy at work.

The Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan

More than 30,000 small to medium-sized businesses choose the Chambers Plan to protect their employees with comprehensive group benefits, including Health and Dental insurance, making it Canada’s #1 employee benefits plan for small businesses. As a not-for-profit program—all surpluses stay in the Plan and help lower premiums.

The PEC Chamber of Commerce has acquired a new affinity partner to immediately address the challenges that our membership community are facing amid COVID-19.

Through BarterPay, small to mid-sized businesses can obtain a wide variety of goods and services that they need by trading surplus, slow-moving or idle inventory, or “down” time instead of using cash. Through this platform, our members will be given exclusive benefits such as reduced activation fees, special promotions and access to BarterPay Small Business Barter Loans at 0% interest.
